CEO/Founder, Favour, was born and raised in Nigeria and moved to the US at the age of 16 for college. Since puberty, she has been suffering from acne and continues to deal with hyperpigmentation today. Using her training as a scientist, Favour began formulating skin care products in her kitchen to address her skin issues. Exploring research articles to discover effective solutions to hyperpigmentation is of utmost importance to Favour. She decided to share her formulations with the world after going through personal difficulties in Summer 2022.

We also aim to improve the scientific understanding of our users about skincare products. We remain conscious of the role that people and businesses play in the decline of our planet and commit to producing and delivering our products using sustainable practices. 

At Favoured Beauty, we aim to give back to the community, especially communities of color. A portion of our proceeds will be used to provide educational and health resources on sun care and skin cancer in marginalized communities, with a focus on acral melanoma which has higher incidence in persons of color.
